June 23 2023 – Friday – Hillbilly Christmas in July Concert @ Mountain Arts Center featuring new country artist Drake Milligan*Concert is 6th in the HCIJ – Shriners Medical Center Concert Series
Saturday, July 15, 2023 – The Annual Randy Jones Memorial Motorcycle Ride for the Kids – this will be the 18th year for the motorcycle ride. The Ride will leave the MineShaft Harley Davidson Store at 10:00 a.m. sharp and travel through 5 beautiful Eastern Kentucky counties. Returning to the Mountain Arts Center for Lunch and the Raffle Bike giveaway, along with door prize give aways, entertainment and Silent Auction, along with HCIJ tee-shirt sales. This year we will also be drawing for 4 $500 cash prizes,
$500 will be given away prior to leaving MineShaft Harley Davidson (just to get your day started) then another $500 will be given away at the first stop – Jenny Wiley State Park Lagoon – next $500 cash prize will be awarded at the Ramey Park Stop in Salyersville, the final $500 cash prize will be awarded at the Mountain Arts Center. That day along with the 2022 Harley Davidson Motorcycle give away we will be drawing for a child size motorcycle and a group of 6-collectible Harley Davidson Prints all matted and beautifully framed. These prints are no longer in circulation so they are a collector’s item.
Hillbilly Christmas in July participates in a large number of local festivals and events throughout the year. We try to make sure to give everyone an opportunity to purchase tickets on items we are giving away. Some of the events we are scheduled to participate in during 2023 are:
Hillbilly Days in Pikeville Kentucky – April 20, 21 & 22 we will be set up in front of the Appalachian Wireless Center with all items
Paintsville Kentucky’s Spring Fling or Spring Festival (no date for this yet)
Blues, Bikes & BBQ in Elizabethtown, Kentucky – usually scheduled for May
The 8th Annual Thacker Memorial Ride for Life – Sunday, May 28th
Scheduled trip to Man ‘O War Harley Davidson in Lexington, Kentucky (TBD)
Scheduled trip to Wildcat Harley Davidson in London, Kentucky (TBD)
Kentucky Apple Festival - Paintsville Kentucky – October 6 & 7
Jenny Wiley Festival in Prestonsburg, Kentucky – October 12, 13 & 14
HCIJ – Jenny Wiley Theatre Concert – September – date to be determined – working on performers for the concert, but it is always a fan favorite, great music, dancing and food – good time in the mountains!

With your help HCIJ can continue its mission of helping Shriners Hospital for Children Medical Center Lexington. To date HCIJ has donated over $795,000.00 to the hospital, we are excited for this new year as we approach the MILLION DOLLAR MARK!
