Randy Jones Memorial Ride for the Kids

Randall Lewis "Randy" Jones, age 59, of Pikeville, passed away, Sunday, June 20, 2010 at his residence.

He was program director and sales director at East Kentucky Broadcasting. He was a member of the Thomas C. Cecil Lodge #375 F & AM, El Hasa Shrine Temple, Hillbilly Clan 1 Outhouse 2, A Hillbilly Christmas in July, a Private Pilot, a member of thePike Co. Rescue Squad, Announcer for Pikeville High School basketball, baseball and football games, the "Voice of W.D.H.R.", did "Words of Wisdom" for Pikeville Elementary, worked on WAKY Radio in Louisville. He was a graduate of Pikeville High School and attended Emory Riddle Pilot School.

He was born in Pike County, Kentucky on September 25, 1950 the son of the late Ermil Lewis and Olive Fleming Jones.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Randall Corey Jones and one brother, John Paul Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette Patton Jones and one son, Austin Jones of Pikeville, one brother, David F. Jones, and his wife, Jeanette of Nicholasville, Ky., his mother-in law, Betty Patton of Pikeville, brother-in-law, Dr. Gary Patton of Lexington and sister-in-law, Mary Elan Jones of Ladson, South Carolina.
